The Legacy Family Community is made up of family members who became connected to CLF as a result of the loss of a loved one who had been impacted by brain injury through sports, military service or other means. It was created, in part, as a means to show our appreciation to our Legacy Donor families by keeping them informed on the progress of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) research that was made possible through their generous donation to research. Members of the Legacy Family Community remain active in the fight against CTE and Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS) and are available to discuss their experience and answer questions regarding brain donation to those considering participation in this research.
